Clathymore extends to 60 acres and with only around
38 homes the overall effect will be that of a traditional
hamlet. Woodland walks, meadows and beautiful countryside
will give an extra dimension of space and light to each
property. Unusually large plot sizes will range from
nearly ¼ of an acre to over 1½ acres.
The
development lies just to the north of the Gask Ridge,
marking the northern most fortified frontier of the
Roman Empire and is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife
including ospreys, deer and red squirrels. Clathymore
landscaping will include at least 60,000 trees and
hedge
plants as part of the woodland planting. Boundary walls
will feature extensive use of natural local stone;
a ha-ha and a deer fence will protect gardens and trees.
